Submitted by Peter Speybrouck on Thu, 2008-04-03 21:11.

For all those that would love to see another theme in SkyOS or would like to switch theme now and then or for those that want to contribute but have no programming experience or inspiration...

This is the first release of the DataCollection editor for Windows.

With this program you can edit or create among others, the configuration files used by the SkyOS themes.
More information about theming can be found at the SkyOS Wiki

SkyFS/BFS viewer 0.1 released

Submitted by Peter Speybrouck on Mon, 2007-09-10 18:07.

This is the first public release of my SkyFS/BFS viewer. This is a GUI application, a windows driver is for somewhere in the future.

Read below before downloading:

* runs on windows xp (does not work on vista yet)
* view files and folders on both SkyFS and BFS partitions
* copy single files from SkyFS/BFS partitions to your fat/ntfs partition.
* does currently only read actions so it should not alter your partition table or any partitions.
* generates a debuglog to identify problems that may still exist.

Freeciv ported

Submitted by Peter Speybrouck on Sat, 2007-09-01 17:26.

It seems that the latest beta of freeciv contains a new SDL client and it even seems to compile without modification!

Only a tiny patch is needed to make it run as root user but that's a nobrainer.

Package will be uploaded soon, here are a few teaser screenshots

Super mario war

I ported Super mario war.

You can find version 1.8 alpha in the SkyOS softwarestore [link removed on request], I suggest not running it in vmware (slow).

Some screenshots:

Have fun!

Super mario war 1.7 release is also available

I added a stylesheet to the svn repository and integrated the webview into the site. The stylesheet itself still needs an update to fit the theme, but it's a start.

Subversion webview: (you can find the link on the community page as well)

The real svn repository is located at in case you want to check it out.
